About the Author

Thom Jones is a former attorney and forensic science instructor. He currently teaches forensic science and related courses at SUNY Empire State College in New York and environmental forensic science at Siena College. Additionally, he has taught dozens on online forensic science courses and run hundreds of crime scene investigation programs throughout the U.S.
