Introduction To Law

Scott Myers

Introduction to Law provides a reader-friendly, insightful review of the structure, history, and basic tenets of the American legal system, and offers a cogent introduction to the concepts and functioning of major catagories of law. The text serves as an excellent college-level starting point for students and other readers who want a better understanding of U.S. jurisprudence. Traditional use of clearly-written textual material is generously supplemented with case excerpts that illustrate abstract legal theory being applied to real-life problems.
