About the Author

David Batchelor has worked in financial services for over 35 years. He started his own company, Wills & Trusts Chartered Financial Planners, in 1992 with a small £9,000 inheritance from his grandmother. David lectures around the world on all areas of financial planning, but focuses on estate planning and UK taxation. He is both a certified Financial Planner as well as a Chartered Financial Planner and was a founding board Director of The Personal Finance Society. He is a question writer for the Chartered Insurance Institute. Dean Hobbs started his business life with Britannia building society before moving to Wills & Trusts 15 years ago. Dean is a registered Financial Planner and specializes in estate and tax planning. Dean is a speaker on estate planning issues and gives presentations to both the public as well as training financial advisers both in the UK and the USA. David and Dean have worked together for close to two decades in their practice Wills & Trusts, and are in demand as trainers to Financial Advsers who keen to move onto advanced tax planning. They have authored this book now to help those who are currently looking to plan their estate and take care of their families after they're gone, but do not have an understanding of what's involved and the resources available. Supporting people through what can be a challenging and emotional process is at the heart of what David and Dean do, and the number one reason they consider this book to be so important.
