Wu, Jade: - Jade Wu (伍嘉瑩) is the author of five books, including Learn to Speak Cantonese 1, Learn to Speak Mandarin 1, and Learn to Speak Taishanese 1. A former instructor at City University of New York, Jade also hosts podcasts that teach Chinese and explore ideas around diasporic identities. Yeung, Carmen: - Carmen Yeung is a native Cantonese speaker and current Mandarin learner based in New York City. She works as an occupational therapist and is an alumni of Baruch College and Columbia University. She enjoys eating, cooking, swimming, and learning about Jesus! You might see her occasionally on Inspirlang's social media from time to time too!
Pham, June: - June Pham was born in Vietnam and moved to the U.S. at the age of 10. She graduated from Baruch College in 2018 and worked as a graphic designer for 3 years in healthcare, real estate, and tech start-ups. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Maryland. In her free time, she enjoys bouldering, golfing, and discovering new restaurants and speakeasies. Her design inspirations and processes stem from everyday human interactions and connections.
