About the Author
Since License to Carry a Gun, ANDREI CODRESCU has published eight books of poetry, among them Belligerence (1992), and Alien Candor: Selected Poems 1970-1996 (1996). He is the author of three memoirs including The Hole in the Flag (1991), an eyewitness account of the collapse of the Ceausescu dictatorship in Romania. Andrei Codrescu is the founder of Exquisite Corpse: A Journal of Letters & Life, a commentator on National Public Radio, and Professor of English at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge.
