Life of Pie: Nag Pie (Fifty More Shades of Nagging)

Chris Gibson

In this second book about 'nagging' Chris Gibson again looks at the funny side of relationships and embarks on a journey through life, where whatever a woman says it is usually translated by a man into a slice of 'nag pie' or simply as good old fashioned 'nagging'. Following on from the hit satirical eBook and paperback, 'Fifty Shades of Nagging', 'Life of Pie' is three times longer and is packed with more analysis of the tongue in cheek nonsense that men and women engage in, while attempting to communicate. The never ending saga that starts when a daughter learns the art of 'nagging' at a tender age and then, as a grown woman, a refinement of her skills with a natural talent embedded in her DNA this perfected over the course of her life. Each chapter considers the specific 'nagging' that happens at a particular time of life, from teenage years, finding a partner, marriage, homemaking, mid life and eventually to the silver surf nagging phase of life as a grandmother. Also, back by popular demand is a section about ageing mothers. There are also chapters on break up's and a new condition dreamt up by the author, 'post traumatic nag disorder', is considered as well as the impact of mobile phones and social media and a look at how a vacation can generate some lovely little comments. In this second book Chris Gibson also looks at the funny side from a woman's perspective and has even included a final chapter that considers the obvious shortcomings of the male species, in what is more like a 'Life of Bragging'.

Chris Gibson is an author of now two satirical books on relationships as well as a range of business books that also adopt an easy to read and an easy to relate to philosophy. A father of a wonderful daughter, who has offered some great material for the satirical books as she has grown into a teenager, he spends as much time as possible enjoying dad and daughter time now, before it's too late and she finds her own way in life. He also works for a living in the business and franchise industry and has written many articles for the various industry publications in his time as well as speaking at events and lecturing all over the world. Chris has adopted a serious yet fun loving approach to work and indeed life and strongly believes that humour is essential to everyday life, a philosophy that occasionally gets him into a spot of bother! As with all authors, he hopes that his work is received in the manner intended and that readers relate to the anecdotes and suggestions contained in all of his books.
