Koza, Wendy: - Wendy Koza has been involved in early childhood education programs for the past 17 years. Her experience includes her work at National Pediatric Support Services in San Diego, California for seven years as the lead teacher of the pre-kindergarten program. She is currently working at a preschool as an assistant director and pre-kindergarten teacher.
Smith, Jodene: -

Jodene L. Smith, M.A., has worked for over 30 years in education, as both as classroom teacher and more recently as an instructional coach for kindergarten through second grade teachers. She supports teachers in understanding why and how to implement the science of reading in their literacy instruction. In addition, Jodene develops curriculum and has authored a wide range of resources that translate educational research into practical classroom strategies, including What the Science of Reading Says: Literacy Strategies for Early Childhood.
