Don Dressig, a retired engineer, was inspired by his family to write the story of Martoose. Don wrote this book as a way to bring a smile to his loved ones, never dreaming that it would be published. Mary Anne Rivers is a retired teacher, active singer/song writer, and lover of books. Mary Anne lives in Northern Michigan, where her lake attracts her many grandchildren, who also love books. This book is for them. Diane Lynn Friese is also a retired Michigan public school teacher. Retirement has allowed her to pursue her love of story telling and illustration.
