American-born Zoé Whitley is curator of international art at Tate Modern in London and coauthor of Soul of a Nation: Art in the Age of Black Power, which accompanied a landmark exhibition at Tate Modern that travels to the Broad, Los Angeles, in March-Sept. 2019. She resides in London. Hélène Baum is a German-born illustrator.
