Praise for this book

"I found this book to be very enlightening. I do understand ADHD in children, as I am an upper elementary teacher, but I was curious to better understand ADHD in adults. The authors do an excellent job of defining what ADHD looks like in adults, particularly men because men seem to be more often diagnosed.

I was really fascinated by the statistics that are included in the book. Because I have been dealing with children for the last 36 years, I can observe the symptoms in my students but I did not realize that if the children are not properly identified as having ADHD, the symptoms will continue into adulthood.

This book is a great help to any adult who feels they might have ADHD, not a diagnosis, but a guide to show how to navigate life more successfully and regulate one's emotions when encountering challenging times and facing one's fears head-on."

-Jodie K.

"This book is an incredibly insightful and comprehensive look at how ADHD effects adult men. There are not enough resources targeted at addressing Men's mental health, and this really explores the social stigmas that prevent so many men from getting the help they need. I also think ADHD focus is often on children and it's important to have books like this that address how it manifests into adulthood. This book also is very informative and has a lot of research and statistics included. I believe it's a great resource for anyone who has a male family member or friend with ADHD. It's a great read for men who are struggling or suspect they maybe have ADHD. As well as, for general education for anyone who wants to learn more about neuro divergence and it manifests in the human brain. Fantastic read."

"Men With ADHD" is a comprehensive and insightful exploration of the unique experiences and challenges faced by men with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The book is an informative and valuable resource for anyone seeking to better understand and support men with ADHD. Their writing style is engaging and accessible, and the book is well-organized and easy to follow. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in this topic. Too many books fail to address the stigmas of mental health illnesses in men but this book captured it well. The book does well to balance the biological explanations of ADHD with the social contexts of it. The book also does a good job at exploring the diversity of symptoms that are present in people with ADHD."

-Lance R.

"Most people who are diagnosed with ADHD, particularly men, never really understand what is happening in your brain. It has such a bad reputation, but honestly this book breaks it down in a way that is easily digestible. For many years I've heard the about ADHD and with such a huge stigma around it, it never really became clear until now. This is a really great read for Men with ADHD or if you know of any men in your life with the diagnosis. This book will give you the clarity to be able to navigate this process with your and with your loved one."
