Bernardo Fernández (Bef) nació en la Ciudad de México y estudió Diseño Gráfico en la Universidad Iberoamericana. Es escritor e historietista por partes iguales. En su primera faceta se destaca como autor de novela policiaca y también como un reconocido amante de la ciencia ficción. También son muy celebradas sus novelas gráficas, que le permiten amalgamar su talento para la escritura con sus habilidades como dibujante y su particular estilo gráfico. Ha ganado varios premios en México y España por su trabajo periodístico, novelístico y gráfico. José Luis Zárate nació en la ciudad de Puebla y estudió Lingüística y Literatura Hispánicas en la buap. Es uno de los escritores de ciencia ficción y de micorrelatos más celebrados de México. También ha escrito ensayo, poesía y narrativa. Es uno de los socios fundadores de la Asociación Mexicana de Ciencia Ficción y Fantasía y del Círculo Puebla de Ciencia Ficción y Divulgación Científica. Ha obtenido varios premios nacionales e internacionales, entre ellos el Premio Más Allá en 1984, el premio Kalpa en 1992, el Premio MECyF en 1998 y 2002 y el Premio UPC de Ciencia Ficción en 2000.
Bernardo Fernández (Bef) was born in Mexico City and studied Graphic Design at the Universidad Iberoamericana. He is a writer and cartoonist in equal measure. In the first facet of him he stands out as a detective novel author and also as a recognized lover of science fiction. His graphic novels are also highly celebrated, allowing him to combine his talent for writing with his skills as a draftsman and his particular graphic style. He has won several awards in Mexico and Spain for his journalistic, novelistic and graphic work. José Luis Zárate was born in the city of Puebla and studied Hispanic Linguistics and Literature at buap. He is one of the most celebrated science fiction and short story writers in Mexico. He has also written essays, poetry, and narrative. He is one of the founding partners of the Mexican Association of Science Fiction and Fantasy and the Puebla Circle of Science Fiction and Scientific Dissemination. He has won several national and international awards, including the Beyond Award in 1984, the Kalpa Award in 1992, the MECyF Award in 1998 and 2002, and the UPC Science Fiction Award in 2000.
