Autumn break is coming up and Eric is ready to get back to lounging around the house. He'd just gotten off of a one-week school suspension. In Eric's mind he's merely between vacations.

But Eric loses the option to lounge home during this school break. His mother presents two choices and
neither sound fun. He could deal with snot rags and soup or basketball and hiking.

His scheming mind sides with camp and leads him into the mountains of Moonlight Creek. Out there the trails stretch high into the sky and deep into the woods. Those hills have a past as mysterious as the village beneath them.
