About the Author

Cathy Hopkins was born in Manchester and lived in Kenya between the ages of five and eleven. She worked as a rock and roll singer, an occupational therapist and an aromatherapist before becoming a full-time writer in 2000. Her Mates, Dates series is a worldwide bestseller and she has been translated into 34 languages. Cathy lives in Bath in a house on a hill, where her cats regularly disrupt her writing by walking across the keyboard and deleting whole chapters.
