Praise for this book

"Trisha demonstrates yet again her unique talent for bringing very ordinary subjects to life through the medium of verse, this time with a cleverly crafted collection of acrostic poems dedicated to her mother. Her writing evokes a range of emotions, and the imagery is sublime. Trisha has stepped outside her poetic comfort zone and certainly shown that her talents are diverse, proving that the body of her work deserves the highest praise."

- Carol Ellis, poet (author of the Mrs Yorkshire the Baking Bard books)

"These poems are a wonderfully warm hug for the reader. Acrostic poems are a daunting challenge to achieve without torturing the content to fit the requirements of the form and this has been achieved with verve and spontaneity. There is humour, love and a heart-tugging poignancy in this very special collection. Heather Moulson's drawings are an absolute delight."
