Nanodiagnostics to Identify and Detect Microbial Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance: Volume 1 - Nanotheranostics, Microbial Infections, and Antim

Divakar Sharma

Nanodiagnostics to Identify and Detect Microbial Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance: Volume 1 - Nanotheranostics, Microbial Infections, and Antimicrobial Resistance offers a comprehensive understanding of the global problem of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and provides insights into the various aspects of AMR and how nanodiagnostics can be utilized to combat it. The book is the first of two volumes that make up Nanotheranostics, Microbial Infections, and Antimicrobial Resistance. Volume 1 discusses how the development of nanotechnologies has been applied for the detection and diagnosis of microbial resistant pathogens. It explores a range of nano-inspired diagnostics, such as biosensors, microfluidic-assisted devices, nanorobotics, nanocapsules, and others, aimed at identifying and early detection of antimicrobial resistance. With contributions from expert in the field, Nanodiagnostics to Identify and Detect Microbial Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance is a helpful resource for researchers, academics, graduate students, industry professionals, and clinicians in microbiology, nanotechnology, and infectious diseases.
