About the Author

Dr. Sean Hubbard is a currently practicing neurohospitalist with twenty-four years of experience.

He is a 1996 graduate of Nova-Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine after which he went on to complete an internal medicine internship and neurology residency at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, where he served as chief resident.

Upon residency completion, he started a private practice in Southern New Jersey, where he assumed various roles, such as stroke director and Neurology Department Chairman at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden & Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Cherry Hill.

Aside from acute neurology, he has developed expertise in health promotion & Patient Experience, offering workshops for physician groups & presenting annually at national conferences.

He and his wife have a blended family which includes four grown children. Kalpana and he enjoy an active lifestyle & travel. Dr. Hubbard enjoys boating, bossa nova, and playing the bass guitar.
