About the Author
Kären Childs Elder graduated from the Ontario College of Art in 1981 with a degree in fine arts, and now lives with her husband Jack in Rochester, Michigan. They have six children. The paintings for this book were created with oil paint on canvas. Kären also works as an art teacher, and she writes and performs spiritual music.
