Tachis, the rogue runner, is running out of time, seemingly running back and forth between time and infinity. A man collects various clock designs in the hope of having enough time needed to finish reading a story, the story of the rogue runner. Tachis always outruns the man's ability to finish reading the story, and as a result he keeps reliving the moment of reading the story to his daughter. The man wishes to surpass the rogue runner in order to have enough time to restore something utterly priceless, something he is willing to bend time and space in order to achieve.
