About the Author

Beth Kander is a playwright, author, and nonprofit professional who divides her time between Chicago, Illinois, and Jackson, Mississippi. She is a past Mississippi Arts Commission Literary Arts Fellow, Charles M. Getchell New Play Award winner, and is currently in the accelerated comedy writing program at Second City Training Center. She holds degrees from Brandeis University and the University of Michigan, and once accidentally spent 5 years working in film production/advertising. She lives with her hilarious husband, copywriter and comedian Danny Dauphin.
