'Searching For The Morning Star' is an allegorical fantasy story of the character building values of love, compassion, courage and faith when faced with impossible obstacles.

Castigio, an old Spanish conquistador, is a persistent dreamer of eternal things. Although a cowardly man, he is able to overcome many dangers with the help of a magnificent sword that has great power. Soot is a lambkin who has become separated from the rest of her flock and meets Castigio while searching for her beloved shepherd. Castigio promises to get her back to her flock and the Kingdom of the Morning Star. Castigio and Soot are joined by a lion cub named Prince Zip. He is looking for his "rightful princely inheritance" and learns a lesson in humility along the way. Abbadon, dreaded black wolf, stalks the three friends as they travel to the Kingdom of the Morning Star in an attempt to keep them from reaching it. There, at the gate of the kingdom, Castigio with his magnificent sword faces Abbadon in a final battle.
