"It is rare to find a knitting book [that is] this well-written and that provides this amount of useful information. ... Just under 300 pages and packed with knowledge, it is one of the best books on knitting that I have read."--Blogger Lappone
"or anyone with more than a passing interest in Norwegian mittens, this book is a must-have. The charts are a fantastic resource, and the section on mitten characteristics an excellent guide for the knitter wanting to design mittens in the Selbu tradition."--Carolyn Vance, The Knitting Guild Association
"Full start-to-finish charted patterns are supplied, as well as separately charted motifs for those advanced knitters who desire to create their own pattern. This book is a definitive reference book that every knitter interested in the art of Nordic knitting should have."--The Norwegian American
