Emmons, Mark: - Mark Emmons began his career as an automotive technician, earning L1 certification and advancing to Service Manager in the Pacific Northwest. With 20 years of service and diagnostic experience, he began a teaching career. He has held teaching positions in high schools, career centers, the South Puget Sound Community College, and Texas State Technical College. As a content creator, he has worked with Cengage, Electude and corporate training clients. He is currently a technical training specialist with Valero. He holds an associate degree in automotive technology from South Puget Sound Community College.
Pickerill, Ken: - Ken Pickerill was a Certified Master Automotive Technician (with ASE Area L1 and X1) and an instructor at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. Mr. Pickerill was a technician for 22 years before entering the training field, and he earned more than 40 years of technical and teaching experience over the span of his career. He received his master's degree in career and technical education from Indiana State University.
