About the Author

Adam Wilson was trained as a barrister before starting a career at the blue chip merchant bank N.M. Rothschild. He was a founding director of the UK stock-broking firm Teather and Greenwood Plc., which was sold to Landesbanki in 2005. He then led a management buyout of Hichens, Harrison & Co., London's oldest stockbroker. He sold Hichens in 2008 to Religare of India and moved to Dubai. Wilson now owns a stake in Daniel Stewart & Co. Plc, as well as being involved in many other companies, including Atlantic Coal Plc, of which he is chairman.
