Sidetracked: A Memoir
This is an account of the first twenty-two years of my life from 1940 to 1958. This is volume one of four. The second installment is titled SCRIBBLER (1958-1962); the third is SKEDADDLE (1962-1964) and the fourth is SIDEOUT (1964 to 2010.) All four are in print. I have also written SKETCHES (2012) an account of my life as a vintage poster dealer in France between 1978 and 2012. Finally, there is MOROCCO (2012) about a trip my wife, Jane Riles, and I took in the spring of 2012.

Born 1940 in Washington, DC. Two children and three grandchildren. Living now in Fort Lauderdale and New Orleans. Attended Brown University and graduated in 1962. Worked on merchant ships from 1957 to 1964 as ordinary seaman and messman. Business owner from 1964 to 2005. Now a writer.
