About the Author
Nelly Buchet is the author of many picture books, including Cat Dog Dog, with art by Andrea Zuilli, which was chosen by children around the world as the 2021 Irma Black Award for Excellence in Children's Literature winner, and celebrated by grown-ups with starred reviews and ALA Notable and JLG selections, among other accolades. Nelly lives in Berlin and loves dance and dogs, preferably together.
Janie Bynum is an illustrator, author and designer. She's always found a deeply satisfying connection to creating story through art, especially illustration for children's books. Her most recent book, Chick Chat, was praised as "truly charming" by School Library Journal. Janie lives with her family in Michigan.
