Social influence involves intentional and unintentional efforts to change another person's beliefs, attitudes, or behavior. Unlike persuasion, which is typically intentional and requires some degree of awareness on the part of the target, social influence may be inadvertent or accidental. For example, there's the aspect of environmental damage. The more we buy, the more we harm the Earth in terms of the amount of garbage we produce, the chemicals we use, and the resources we waste. This, in turn, can impact our health and even economy. Also, consider the opportunity costs involved.
In my this book, I shall indicate case studies to explain whether social environment influences consumer behavior or consumer behavior influences social environment changes ?
