Solefood: Food for the Brain

Solefood

What if this, what if that...we all do it, every second, every day. Otherwise we wouldn't be human. This book was not designed to make you like or not like certain topics spoken on or touched upon. It is to invite you into the "universal minds" that we all live in. When I say universal minds, I mean...things that we all think about, but not necessarily act upon or even mention to others. As I began to write this book I knew that I wanted my readers to feel like there in that particular situation. Whether the poem be a family poem, Godly poem, sexual poem, love poem, etc...if the words don't run through your body as you read, than I didn't do a good job writing and expressing these thoughts.

We as human beings have fantasies that we enjoy embracing within our own minds. I thought to myself, if we all have these images that seem so far from reality, why not bring the thoughts of all to paper through my words to create these images for others as well.

My very close friends inspired me, as well as family, people I never even knew, or knew for just a second of my life. I want you to become intoxicated and obligated to setting your mind free.

About the Author

Born August 08, 1978, Brooklyn, New York in Kings County Hospital weighing in at 10lbs8oz. Yeah! Big boy, the biggest one and biggest boy my mom gave birth to. Resided in Brooklyn, NY up until the age of 5 and then moved to Rosedale, NY. Attended St. Clare's Elementary, then attended an English/French grammar school in Haiti for a year as I overextended my vacation with my siblings. I would return to NYC to continue my education at St. Pius X School in Rosedale. I have great memories growing up in Rosedale and going to school there. Till this day some of my closest friends are from my childhood. I feel and know that I am fortunate to have such great friends around me. Holy Cross High School is where I would do my four years of not having classes with girls, lol. It was cool thought, lots of laughs, and I knew I was there for two things, books and football. It didn't matter, the girls liked themselves some Holy Cross Knights, they would come up to our school for basketball games, football games, or just to hang outside to see who they could try to approach at the upcoming school dances. Yall remember school dances, Salt 'n' Peppa, Big Daddy Kane, etc...dancing music, not head nodding music. After words, Morgan State University is where decided to continue my education and football career. Although I made great friends there and still keep in touch with them, I would transfer to L.I.U.-C.W. Post Campus in New York. I would receive my Bachelor's in Psychology. Now, presently in Grad School studying to obtain my MBA/HR Mgmt. Enjoy the book.
