Southern Cross
Peter Masterson is a polar advisor to a scientific station on Antarctica's desolate Ross Ice Shelf, where engineers are experimenting with a top secret hot water boring process. Mensa Station sits in the shadow of the impassable Queen Maud Mountains not far from the mouth of the treacherous glacier known as Hell's Flow. About the Author
Steve Forbes has been writing men's adventure and suspense novels since the 1970's. He is a former martial arts instructor with a 1st deg. Dan Black Belt in TaeKwon-Do. He is also an experienced Scuba diver, pilot, jumpmaster and skydiver having more than three hundred jumps and an expert rating with the United States Parachute Association. In addition to adventure fiction, Forbes writes children's books with the help of his artist wife Polly. Their three sons, Stephen, Michael and Alec work with him in the construction and building business. The family now owns and operates a motel and RV park in Great Falls, Montana.
