In this collection of 11 short stories, some of which have been previously published, the reader will discover dark, psychological stories where rooms are sometimes real, sometimes metaphorical. The concluding novelette, "Someone's Always Saying Goodbye," is an homage to the late-great storyteller Richard Matheson and tells the story of a young couple traveling from Chicago to Bloomington, Indiana who are waylaid in a small northern Indiana town where things are not quite as they seem-if anything can "seem" to be real.
