Suzanne Wrack is a sports writer for the Guardian with a focus on women's sports. She was highly commended in the Media Initiative of the Year category at the 2018 Women's Sport Trust 'Be A Game Changer' awards, shortlisted for the Football Supporters' Association writer of the year in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 and in 2019 she was also shortlisted for sports journalist of the year at the British Press Awards and for football journalist of the year by the Sports Journalists' Association. In 2019 her writing on the abuses suffered by the Afghanistan women's national team at the hands of the president of the Afghanistan football federation was a winner in one of two written categories at the AIPS (international sports press association) awards.
