Ponder Goembel has created all kinds of critters in the books she has illustrated for children. Her recent title, Castaway Cats, written by Lisa Wheeler, received a starred review from School Library Journal and was a Bill Martin, Jr. Picture Book Award nominee. Helen Ketteman is the author of more than nineteen books for children.
