About the Author

About the Annotator Dr. SONG, SHOOU JENG. Ancestral from Anhui Wuwai province, China. He was born in 1956, in Yilan county, Taiwan. He gained his P.H.D at National Central University Department of Electrical Engineering, Taiwan. Dr. Song has been fond of Chinese traditional literature and has worked as a specialist in research center for twenty years. He also teaches in college as an Assistant Professor since 2005 in Taoyuan county, Taiwan. In addition, Dr. Song once served as Head of Department, Vice President for General Affairs of Taiwan. He has been lecturing "Tao Te Ching" as part of general education subject in universities for years and was also invited to many temples to teach "Tao Te Ching". This book was written based on the notes from lectures.
