About the Author

Havranek, Carrie: - As a child and young adult, Carrie Havranek spent time in Lancaster County, Philadelphia, and up and down the river towns along the Delaware River, so it was no surprise when her journalism career started with an internship at Rodale, in Emmaus. She will go out of her way for fresh, local food. Her writing has appeared in Edible Philly, the Kitchn, and Lucky Peach among other places. She works as an associate editor at Simply Recipes, where she develops, edits, and writes recipes. Carrie lives in Easton, Pennsylvania, with her twin boys and two cats.
Conklin, Alisonq: - Alison Conklin is a food, portrait, and wedding photographer. For Tasting Pennsylvania, she used a Fujifilm GFX 50s, a medium-format digital camera. This is Alison's fourth book as a photographer. When not behind a lens, Alison can be found in Emmaus, Pennsylvania, with her husband, two teenage sons, and two Great Danes.
