About the Author

Heyne, Dirk: - Dirk Heyne works as a partner in the Big Four. He advises clients during the transformation and digitization of their tax function and its integration with the finance function. One of his focus areas is the support of the tax function during SAP S/4HANA transformation projects. The use cases span tax data management across operational transfer pricing to the implementation of BEPS 2.0 requirements. Dirk is a certified tax advisor and a certified public accountant in Germany. Beyond that, he holds a PhD from the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science as well as two master's degrees in engineering and business engineering from the Technical University Munich.
Teichelmann, Nadine: - Nadine Teichelmann is a senior consultant in the EY indirect tax technology practice based in Munich, Germany. In this role, she advises multinational clients on the digitization of their tax department. With her degree in business informatics and her upcoming PhD in tax technology, Nadine's core focus is on the technical and business process side of indirect tax implementation projects in SAP S/4HANA.
Fuhr, Michael: - Michael Fuhr is a certified tax advisor with a business informatics background and co-leads the tax technology practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Germany and PwC Europe. He is partner in the indirect tax practice of PwC in Germany and focuses on the integration of indirect tax requirements in SAP solutions and operational tax control frameworks. Tuncer, Ferhat: - Ferhat Tuncer is a partner in EY's EMEIA Platform, Solutions & Intelligence practice and the solution owner of Tax Risk & Control for SAP, a rapid deployment solution for SAP Tax Compliance and other SAP applications. He supported the development of SAP Tax Compliance in 2016 and developed tax rule content for the world's first SAP Tax Compliance implementation with BASF SE as well as with many other clients.
