About the Author

Naghdi, Sabine: - Sabine Naghdi (PhD) is an art historian with special interest in Ancient Civilisations, Asian art, and cultural anthropology. She worked at Sotheby's London as an international art expert and in-house auctioneer When Yasmine, her eldest daughter, commenced her training at The Royal Ballet School, Sabine's fascination with the many aspects of classical ballet training drove her to study sports psychology and sports nutrition, dance injury management and performance success, which aided in supporting her daughter through all the physical and mental challenges she encountered. She was also involved in the creation of the White Lodge Museum and Ballet Resource Centre, the first dedicated ballet museum in the UK, and in the publication of "A True Heritage: the story of The Royal Ballet School and Companies.
