The Basic Principles of External Skeletal Fixation

Leonid Solomin

This is the third edition of a well-received book that reflects the state of the art in External Skeletal Fixation Using the Ilizarov and Other Devices. The unique feature of this book is its combination of Ilizarov, Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Osteosynthesefragen/Orthopedic Trauma Association (AO/OTA), and Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction Surgery (LLRS) principles, which will allow it to meet the needs of a broader community. Thus, its goal is to provide orthopedic surgeons at all levels, from "zero" to master level, of training and experience with a tabletop guide offering comprehensive information on the use of external fixation and combined techniques to treat patients with injuries, the consequences of fractures, and orthopedic pathologies.
