This book is the culmination of seven years research.

A strong foundational overview of Islam is given.

Knowledge and wisdom is provided to enable the reader to have a working grounding on how to practise the religion of Islam.

We aim to lay the building blocks for the reader to then go on to make further spiritual progress.

The book makes every effort to uphold the integrity and principles of the Quran and Prophet Muhammad's legacy and traditions, as well as applying it to a modern day setting. Derived from tafsir, hadith, fiqh, seerah and aqeedah.

We have named the book, 'The Basics of Islam, ' but this can be partially misleading. The book is condensed but also aims to be comprehensive. Our aim with this book was for the reader to have all the fundamentals to be a good well informed Islamic Muslim. Matters that concern advance jurisprudence of the doctors of law and deep analysis of the Quran, are areas for specialist study.

We were focused in this book to highlight the core belief system and moral code of Islam, psychological skills, rules and precepts, and core teaching of the prophet. These concentrations give individuals, families and communities the knowledge and wisdom they need to prosper as sound Islamic Muslims.
