An Alaskan author of over eleven books. Raymond was born and raised in Juneau, Alaska. Before the age of twenty one, he had traveled as far north and south as one can travel by boat or plane (often sea planes).Lived in foreign countries, Canada and many states. Raymond has traveled from Rampart House in Canada down the Yukon River, enjoyed Armistice Day in Nome, Alaska, lived in a tent with the outdoor temperature of seventy below zero (without wind chill). worked for the Alaska Department of Fish and Game and served in the U. S. Army Regimental Intelligence and Reconnaissance 4th Infantry Raymond is a graduate from two universities and now lives in Arizona with his wife of 44+ years and two pesky, but adorable miniature Schnauzers.
