The Conquest of the World by the Jews: An Historical and Ethnical Essay

Major Osman Bey

"A seminal text in the history of antisemitism; this was the very first book to posit the theory of a world Jewish conspiracy . . . ."

The Conquest of the World by the Jews is a pamphlet originally written in French in 1873 under the title "La conquête du monde par les Juifs" by Major Osman Bey, whose real name was Frederick Millingen. The English translation by F. W. Mathias was first published in 1878 and became a worldwide bestseller.

In this new version, the original text has been edited by Simon Harris, who also contributes a foreword that places the work in its historical context.

Excerpt from the Foreword by the publisher of the 1976 edition, Walter White, Jr of WESTERN FRONT publishing

"There has been nothing written on this subject during the past 200 years to compare with what you are about to read. In fact, we of WESTERN FRONT doubt that anything ever written can compare with the contents contained herein because this is the only work which has revealed the result from the application of the principle of material interests. The author says: 'The Jewish people have, in all probability, been the ?rst ones to discover that secret power - the principle of material interests.'

Every non--Jew must read this book from cover-to-cover because only then will the non-Jew discover how 'The Principle of Material Interests' enslaves the people by financial oppression. It illustrates that Jewish solidarity is so great, that, if you attack one Jew in any particular place, all the Jews of the five continents arise as one man."

About the Author

Bey, Major Osman: - The authorship of The Conquest of the World by the Jews is credited to Major Osman Bey, which was one of the pseudonyms of Frederick Millingen, who was the son of a British surgeon attached to the Greek army and was born in Istanbul in 1830. Millingen served briefly as an officer in the Ottoman army and apparently volunteered for the Unionists in the American Civil War in 1865. However, when he arrived in New York, the fighting was virtually over, so he never saw active service. Frederick Millingen was the author of several books under his own name, including La Turquie sous la règne d'Abdul-Aziz (Paris, 1868) and Wild life among the Koords (London, 1870) but it was The Conquest of the World by the Jews that brought him most notoriety. According to his memoirs, Millingen was hounded across Europe by a transnational cabal of "Judeo-nihilists" and their allies, including his own sister, and expelled from so many countries that he describes himself as "the most expelled man of the 19th century."

Praise for this book

A historical perception of world Jewry conspiracies that are breathtakingly & ominously relevant today,145 years after its first publication. A compelling & illuminating read beginning to end.
