About the Author

Born and raised in St. Albans, Vermont, Cheryl Kennedy graduated from Castleton State College where she received her degree in Communications with a concentration in Journalism. Cheryl wrote for both her high school as well as her college newspapers. While attending college, she published several poems in various anthologies. In 1983 she married her college sweetheart and moved to Rhode Island. Today Cheryl and her husband of 28 years reside in Bristol, RI. After a lengthy absence from writing while she worked and raised her two daughters, Cheryl returned to writing with the publication of a short autobiographical story The Year Off that was published earlier this year
