Leanna Renee Hieber is an actress, playwright and began her fiction writing career with the first Dark Nest novella, which won the 2009 Prism Award for Best Fantasy Romance Novella. Since then she has written 8 full length novels, 5 novellas and numerous short stories. She is best known as the award-winning, bestselling author of acclaimed Gothic Victorian Fantasy novels such as the Strangely Beautiful saga, the Magic Most Foul saga and The Eterna Files saga for Tor. Her work has appeared in numerous notable anthologies, chosen for national book club editions and translated into many languages.
