About the Author
Matthew Tyler Giobbi, Ph.D., is a media theorist who focuses on psychodynamic and existential-phenomenological theory. He is the founder of psymedia.org and teaches media psychology at Rutgers University at Newark, New Jersey. Giobbi is the Erich Fromm Research Associate at the European Graduate School in Switzerland.
