Here is life in a conquered America yet many have adjusted and are determined to be happy. All the people fit together in the fast moving ending becoming involved in an amazing event that may destroy or save them. Here is a love story, a mystery, and a suspenseful adventure tale.

Roger Lee Vernon has published science fiction books, The Space Frontiers, NAL Signet, and Robot Hunt, Avalon Books. These books still have a cult following. He has a Ph.D. in history and taught in Chicago area colleges. He took early retirement to write and travel teaching college history courses on several navy ships from aircraft carriers to destroyers to cruisers to supply ships.
