Capturing important insights from Paul's speech to the multicultural and multireligious city of Athens in Acts 17, Paul Copan and Kenneth Litwak seek to enhance and embolden the church's witness in today's pluralistic society by helping us point contemporary Athenians beyond "an unknown God" to the God and Father of Jesus Christ.
Kenneth D. Litwak earned his Ph.D. at the University of Bristol in England and is adjunct professor of New Testament studies at Azusa Pacific University and Asbury Seminary. He is the author of Echoes of Scripture in Luke-Acts: Telling the History of God's People Intertextually (TT Clark).
Paul Copan (PhD, Marquette University) is the Pledger Family Chair of Philosophy and Ethics at Palm Beach Atlantic University. His books include The Gospel in the Marketplace of Ideas, An Introduction to Biblical Ethics, and Creation Out of Nothing.
