Charly Harding is the kind of girl who stays on top of everything in her personal life.

But not this year.

It starts with the tragic loss of her Mom on New Year's Day. Shortly after, her girlfriend of two years ditches her for another girl. Then she learns that her Dad has a girlfriend - the same one with whom he has cheated on her Mom.

Soured on love, Charly escapes to her grandparents' home on Cape Cod for a much-needed respite. All she wants is an easy, uncomplicated summer to settle things down before heading off to college.

But the universe has a different plan for Charly.

Right away, Charly meets two girls: the sexy and puckish Skeeter, a country girl from North Carolina, and the delicate yet alluring Serena, the daughter of a British diplomat. Both girls want Charly for themselves. And that's where the trouble starts.

Charly is casually dating Skeeter, but after a couple of secret outings with Serena, she realizes she has feelings for both girls. Worse, she's being dishonest with Skeeter. Then, both girls find out about each other. And now her cheating Dad wants to marry the "other" woman.

So much for an uncomplicated summer.
