Lowry, Harold: - As an only child, Harold developed an abiding interest in the fascinating lives of his wife, Polly's, extended family and gathered volumes of information about her relatives and ancestors, much of it first-hand. As they grew older together they often travelled to places of family significance and gleaned the information that would become three very interesting books. I married their their daughter Susan and drew very close to the entire family. After Polly passed on in 2007 and Harold followed in 2014, Susan and I, with help from our daughter Sarah, took it upon ourselves to publish Harold's studies. The current volume is the first of three.
