Kay Barnham has written over 70 children's books, including storybooks, series fiction, film and TV adaptations, non-fiction and joke books. One of her short stories was included in John McLay's anthology Thirteen and she was one of the 366 authors who contibuted to Scholastic's WOW! 366 in 2008. Kay lives near the New Forest and is married with one daughter.
