Carol A. Smith is a woman of faith, power and determination who strives daily to implement God's purpose and plan for her life. Minister Carol accepted her calling to ministry in 2010, under the leadership of Pastor Lynette Patterson. She has served the Body of Christ in various capacities for more than thirty years. Minister Carol has served as lead servant of Worthy Women of Grace at Graceland Community Church and Women of Excellence at the Remnant Worship Center. Her ministry work is extensive as she has also played an instrumental role in the production of the Favor of Flavor Fashion Extravaganza, to promote self-esteem in men and women of all ages. The anointing on her life has created unique opportunities for the collaborative use of her ministerial, professional training and experience in both the Christian and professional sectors. Her unique ability to inspirationally motivate and uplift others has aided her in actively participating in a Prison Ministry, where she preaches and teaches God's word to more than 100 offenders. She would like to one day establish an outreach program that helpsCAROL A. SMITH 76 previously incarnated offender transition back into society. Her education and service to the church and community has equipped her to empower others to fulfill God's propose for their lives. She has successfully executed a number of women's conferences, Christian workshops and programs. In addition, she is the sole proprietor of Shekinah Events by Carol, a Christian event planning business. She has also served on the board of directors for The Official Miss Black Houston Pageant for eight years. Minister Carol has been married to her soul mate Allen Smith III for 25 years and she is the mother of four wonderful children; DeJuan, Sparkle, Keyun and Allen IV. She is a homegrown Houstonian, and a graduate of Houston's Jack Yates Sr. High School. She has attended College of Biblical Studies and Barclay Career College where she received Business Certification and December 2016, she received her Bachelor of Arts in General Studies with a focus in Social Work from Texas Southern University.
