McGaughey, George: - George McGaughey is a writer and poet who grew up in Colorado, still calling it home when he's not on the road in his RV, traveling the U.S. and Canada with his artist wife Peggy, their cat Coco, and his fly rod. In addition to his novels, he is the author of the Mouse Tale books for children, illustrated by Betsy Hoyt Feinberg.
