About the Author
Amber Searles had practiced and taught the Responsive Classroom for middle school for four years before becoming a program developer for Center for Responsive Schools, where she focuses on creating Responsive Classroom middle school content. Before working for CRS, she taught sixth through eighth grades at Brewer Middle School in Greenwood, South Carolina.
